Water finding its way.
Who I Am
A small-town European in his early thirties. Vegetarian. Minimalist by value and practice. Laravel developer by trade, builder by instinct. Married to the one person who doesn't require translation — she designs spaces, I build the world inside them. We share our home in Subotica, Serbia, with four animal companions who ask nothing and give everything.
The Tao Te Ching is the anchor. Everything else orbits it. Not a philosophy I adopted — an articulation of something I already was.
What Moves Me
Film
Wes Anderson's grief dressed in beauty. Tarantino's rhythm and refusal to apologize. Slow cinema. Atmosphere over plot. Eastern European and world cinema. Films that sit in you for days.
Music
Hermanos Gutiérrez — two brothers, two guitars, no words needed. The sonic equivalent of minimalism. Ambient and atmospheric, always. Texture over melody. Feeling over structure.
Books
Philosophy and spirituality. Fiction that builds entire worlds. Physical books only. Read in bursts — weeks of nothing, then consumed. The ones that stay aren't the ones I finished.
Play
The Sims. Longer than I'll admit. A life you can shape exactly. A space you can design from scratch with total control, no consequences, no chaos. Honest escapism.
What I Believe
"The best, like water, benefit all and do not compete."
Tao Te Ching — Chapter 8
